Internship किसी student या early-career learner को वास्तविक workplace, project और professional skills का अनुभव देने वाली सीमित अवधि की learning opportunity है। यह paid, unpaid, part-time, full-time, remote, hybrid या on-site हो सकती है।

2026 में AICTE National Internship Portal student registration को free बताता है और employers से students से internship fee न लेने की declaration लेता है। इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि internet पर हर internship genuine है; company और offer independently verify करना जरूरी है।

Internship और Job में अंतर

Internship का primary purpose learning और work exposure होता है, जबकि regular job में ongoing employment responsibility होती है। कुछ internships job offer में बदल सकती हैं, लेकिन guarantee नहीं।

Paid Internship

Intern को stipend या salary मिलती है। Amount role, city, company और skills पर depend करता है। High stipend को quality का एकमात्र measure न मानें।

Unpaid Internship

कुछ sectors में unpaid internships मिलती हैं। आपको सीख, mentorship, duration और legal/institutional rules समझकर निर्णय लेना चाहिए। केवल certificate के लिए full-time unpaid exploitation स्वीकार करना जरूरी नहीं।

Remote Internship

‘Guaranteed internship’ के लिए बड़ी registration fee, security deposit या course purchase compulsory करना red flag हो सकता है। Employer और platform की identity verify करें।

Internship Search कहाँ करें?

College placement cell, official government portals, company career pages, LinkedIn और trusted professional networks उपयोग करें। Search-engine ads में fake portals हो सकते हैं।

CV कैसे बनाएं?

एक page student CV में education, relevant skills, projects, internship/volunteer work और achievements रखें। Generic objective से बेहतर role-specific summary।

Experience नहीं है तो?

Academic project, college club, volunteer work, personal portfolio, GitHub, writing sample या design sample दिखाएँ। Internship का उद्देश्य ही early experience बनाना है।

Cover Letter

क्यों उस role में interest है, कौन-सी 2–3 skills relevant हैं और आपने क्या project किया है—संक्षेप में लिखें। Company name बदलना भूलने वाला copy-paste letter avoid करें।

Application Email

Clear subject, short introduction, role name और attached CV/portfolio रखें। Large irrelevant attachments न भेजें।

Portfolio

Design, writing, coding, photography या marketing role में 3–6 best samples quantity से बेहतर हैं। Confidential client/student work permission बिना share न करें।

Interview तैयारी

Company क्या करती है, internship role और अपने projects समझें। ‘Tell me about yourself’ का 60-second answer तैयार रखें।

Skill Test

Genuine company limited sample test दे सकती है। कई घंटे/दिन का real client work free करवाना suspicious हो सकता है।

Offer Letter

Duration, location, stipend, working hours, supervisor, role और termination conditions पढ़ें। केवल WhatsApp message को formal offer न मानें।

NDA और Confidentiality

क्या सीखा, कौन-सी problem हल की, कौन-सी skill कमजोर है और next week goal—चार points लिखें। Final interview में यह log useful होता है।

Networking

Colleagues से professional relation बनाएं, LinkedIn पर connect करें और work खत्म होने पर thank-you note दें। केवल referral मांगने के लिए contact न करें।

Internship को Job में कैसे बदलें?

Reliable work, communication, deadlines और initiative दिखाएँ। End से पहले full-time openings के बारे में politely पूछें।

Bad Internship के संकेत

कोई mentor नहीं, unrelated repetitive work, abusive behavior, promised stipend न मिलना, personal bank/OTP मांगना या illegal task कराना red flags हैं।

Exit करना कब ठीक है?

Safety, harassment, fraud या serious mismatch में college/mentor से बात करके exit करना उचित हो सकता है। Learning opportunity के नाम पर unsafe environment सहना जरूरी नहीं।

Remote Scam संकेत

Equipment खरीदने के लिए personal account में पैसा भेजना, crypto payment, cheque deposit-return scam, Telegram-only interview और impossible salary common red flags हैं।

International Internship

Visa/work authorization, insurance, accommodation और tax rules अलग होते हैं। ‘Tourist visa पर work कर लो’ advice बिना legal verification न मानें।

क्या आप tool सीखना चाहते हैं, industry देखना चाहते हैं, portfolio बनाना चाहते हैं या job conversion चाहते हैं? Goal स्पष्ट होगा तो internship quality evaluate करना आसान होगा।

First Week Checklist

Supervisor, work hours, communication tool, deliverables, data-access rules और feedback schedule समझें। Company laptop/account मिले तो password और confidentiality rules follow करें।

Meeting Etiquette

Time पर join हों, notes लें, unclear task पर सवाल पूछें और meeting के बाद action items लिखें। Camera policy company culture पर depend करती है।

Internship छोड़ने के बाद Handover

Files organize करें, status note दें, company data personal device से हटाएँ और access return करें। Professional handover future reference मजबूत करता है।

Internship पाने के लिए 4-week action plan

Internship खोजने में सबसे बड़ी समस्या यह होती है कि student एक ही generic CV दर्जनों जगह भेजता है और response न मिलने पर मान लेता है कि experience के बिना internship मिलना संभव नहीं है। बेहतर तरीका चार सप्ताह का focused plan बनाना है। पहले सप्ताह में एक target role चुनें—जैसे content, data, sales, design, software, pharmacy, finance या HR—और उस role की 15–20 internship descriptions पढ़कर बार-बार आने वाली skills नोट करें।

दूसरे सप्ताह में उन skills से जुड़ा छोटा proof-of-work बनाएं। Writer sample article लिख सकता है, data student spreadsheet/dashboard बना सकता है, developer छोटा project GitHub पर डाल सकता है और design student 2–3 sample screens तैयार कर सकता है। यह paid client work होना जरूरी नहीं है; उद्देश्य recruiter को यह दिखाना है कि आपने skill का अभ्यास किया है।

तीसरे सप्ताह में application quality सुधारें

CV को एक page में साफ रखें और सबसे relevant skills ऊपर रखें। हर internship के लिए पूरा CV दोबारा लिखना जरूरी नहीं, लेकिन summary, project और keywords को role के अनुसार adjust करना उपयोगी है। Cover message में “I need internship for experience” के बजाय दो बातें स्पष्ट करें: आप role में क्या सीखना चाहते हैं और आपके पास कौन-सा छोटा proof है कि आप शुरुआत कर सकते हैं।

Application का record spreadsheet में रखें: company, role, date, source, contact, status और follow-up date। इससे एक ही role पर बार-बार apply करने और follow-up भूलने से बचेंगे। एक सप्ताह बाद polite follow-up किया जा सकता है, लेकिन रोज message करना professional नहीं माना जाता।

Internship scam पहचानने की checklist

• “Guaranteed internship” के नाम पर बड़ी upfront fee माँगी जा रही है।
• Company website, official email या legal identity verify नहीं हो रही।
• Interview के बिना तुरंत offer और फिर payment/OTP की मांग हो रही है।
• Role description बहुत vague है लेकिन earning claim बहुत बड़ा है।
• Personal bank password, UPI PIN या unnecessary identity documents माँगे जा रहे हैं।
• आपसे अपने account से money transfer या parcel receive/forward करने को कहा जा रहा है।

Paid और unpaid internship में क्या सोचें?

Stipend महत्वपूर्ण है, लेकिन decision केवल amount पर न लें। काम के घंटे, mentorship, learning, travel cost, role की relevance और company की credibility देखें। Unpaid internship तभी consider करें जब वह कानूनी और व्यावहारिक रूप से उचित हो, आपकी financial स्थिति अनुमति देती हो और learning स्पष्ट हो। लंबे समय तक full-time productive work बिना उचित compensation के करवाना red flag हो सकता है।

चौथे सप्ताह में applications के response देखें। अगर 30 targeted applications के बाद भी interview नहीं मिल रहा, तो CV और proof-of-work सुधारें। Interviews मिल रहे हैं लेकिन offers नहीं, तो interview practice पर काम करें। इस तरह internship search को random waiting के बजाय measurable process बनाया जा सकता है।

Offer मिलने के बाद क्या verify करें
